Katie Southworth is an internationally recognized abstract artist. Her work harnesses the power of color and light to promote mindfulness, mental well-being, and joy. Originally from Darien, Connecticut, she received her Bachelors degrees in Psychology and Studio Art from Colby College, and her Masters in Teaching Art from the Tufts School of the Museum of Fine Arts. She is now pursuing her fine art career full time. Her studio is located in the SoWa Art & Design District in Boston’s South End. Over 100 of Katie’s original works have been sold to private collections abroad and in over 30 cities across the US. Her work has been featured in several international publications including Vanity Fair London and British Vogue. Katie is overjoyed to have collaborated with New Canaan Gallery and Frame to present to you: “Colorjoy” – her first solo show of her fine art career.
