Mohammad Hadi Fadavi is a distinguished Iranian neo-traditional artist, born in 1959 in Arak, Iran. Initially pursuing Persian literature, his passion for art led him to explore painting and cinema set design. Fadavi is renowned for blending ancient Iranian motifs, such as pottery designs and miniatures, with contemporary art forms, utilizing colors like turquoise, Persian blue, green, and earthy tones. His artworks often feature animal motifs—fish, owls, roosters—and later evolved to include cypress trees and horses. The depiction of riderless horses in vibrant hues like blue, turquoise, saffron, white, and gray showcases his love for beauty and refinement.

Fadavi’s career includes numerous solo and group exhibitions across Iran and Europe, with notable participation in events in Portugal, Italy, France, Greece, and Germany. His works have been recognized by institutions like the International Museum of 20th Century Arts (TIMOTCA) and featured in publications such as “Shadow Art” magazine.

In addition to painting, Fadavi has contributed to cinema as a stage and costume designer, collaborating with prominent Iranian directors.
